Bree + Andrew – To be Married | Sunshine Coast Engagement & Wedding Photographer

A huge congratulations to Bree + Andrew for two things; Firstly there engagement and secondly on winning this amazing prize from a competition I ran with Coast to Country Weddings & Pomodoras on Obi.  The prize was a stylised engagement photography session followed with a 2 course meal and bottle of bubbly (this prize was worth well over a $1000).

Bree + Andrew totally blew us away with there romantic story.

So please have a read below this was Bree’s entry and story on how they got engaged:

My name is bree and I have been truly blessed to have recently become engaged to the most wonderful, sweet man with a true heart of gold- Andrew.

See attached photo (to the left)- after 3 years together in august this year (2013) we made the trip of a lifetime to Peru, before I get weighed down by my studies next year. We decided to do the Inca trail together and I really underestimated how hard it would be.

After 4 days of beautiful surrounds, lifelong new friends, literal breathlessness (i swear i now know why they call it “dead woman’s pass”) hardship and no shower we finally reached the sungate on the 4th day.  At the top of the mountain, overlooking Machu Picchu our tour guide lead us to the highest point at the sungate. There he performed a coca leaf reading – he could foresee a man who was troubled by a question… A question he had to ask someone. It was then that Andrew held my hand and looked in my eyes. I knew immediately by the warmth that shone through his eyes and then he asked me to marry him. I was so emotional all I could do was nod (and sob haha). But we were surrounded by new wonderful friends and our trail chefs had even somehow managed to bake us a cake whilst camping in the mountains!! It was the most emotional day of my life and we haven’t stopped beaming with happiness together since!

So what did we all think of that.  I know it made me go awwww.

I was so excited about this session as I knew Jo from Coast to Country Weddings had the ideal setup and Pomodoras on Obi  had perfect location (with amazing food).  The day came for the session and well it looked like it was going to rain….we were lucky for the first 20 minutes then it did rain.  Bree and Andrew wow what a couple, these two are such great sports and were not bothered by the rain.  If they aren’t bothered neither am I (rain, hail, or shine I will get out there).  And I have to say the rain really made this session super special, it seemed to add a certain charisma.  I really loved this session as Bree and Andrew were just perfect for this session. I look forward to working with both Coast to Country Weddings and Pomodoras on Obi in 2014.  Make sure you check out Coast to Country Weddings and Events – www.coasttocountryweddingsandevents.com.au and Pomodoras on Obi – www.pomodoras.com.au

If you would like a engagement or special session like this please contact me for more information – this type of photoshoot would also be a very romantic setup for anybody that would like to propose to that special someone.
