The weather was predicted rain -but on so many occasions the weather man gets it wrong. This was a morning family session – so we had decided the day before that we were going to take a chance (and also earlier that morning). The chance being that it was not going to rain. About 5 minutes before I arrived to the location it has started to lightly sprinkle a little bit, and I thought to myself ‘I hope that’s the worst of it’ – boy was I wrong.
As we started to walk from our cars to the beach the rain started to get a little more than a sprinkle, so everyone gathered under a tree (a lovely tree it was). So I quickly snapped away and got a few shots in – then it just poured….not for 5 minutes, not for 10…but the whole time we were there. We quickly all ran to a nearby shelter from where I took photos for the rest of the session. It was a super fun session even with all that water, and was great to see this lovely family again (as a a few months earlier I shot there Maternity and Newborn session ‘for little Brodyn’. Congratulations on your engagemnent too.
